Chris Hale
Chris Hale was Senior Partner of Travers Smith between 2013 and 2019 and is now the Firm's Chair Emeritus. His practising work has focussed on private equity transactions and he has been involved in some of the highest profile buy-outs of recent years. In addition to his work at Travers Smith, Chris now lectures to graduate classes at a number of universities. He writes on private equity themes.
William Paul (Non-Executive Director and Board Advisor, Dorna Sports SL)
Until March 2021 William was a Partner, Head of Financial Services and Head of Sports Media, London and Madrid at Bridgepoint. He was the senior partner in the firm in charge of Bridgepoint's global activities in Sports Media and in Financial Services. He was a member of Bridgepoint’s Investment Committee and Board Member for Bridgepoint’s €6 billion Credit arm. During this time he was responsible for leading Bridgepoint's transaction origination and execution capabilities in the Financial Services and Sports Media sectors. As the lead partner for the relevant transactions, he would typically take a position as Non-Executive Director on the board of each investee company in order to drive the investment through its life cycle, operating closely with management teams.
