The Judge Business School, Centre for Financial Analysis and Policy; Cambridge Finance; and the 3CL co-organised a conference entitled "Principles v. Rules in Financial Regulation". The conference took place at the Judge Business School, Cambridge on the 10-12 April 2008.

Professor Dhammika Dharmapala, (University of Connecticut, Department of Economics) gave a joint 3CL/CBR seminar entitled "Corporate Governance, Enforcement and Firm Value: Evidence from India" on the 23rd June 2008. Professor Howell Jackson, Harvard Law School, gave a 3CL evening seminar entitled "Comparing Capital Market Oversight". The seminar took place on the 20th October 2008. Carol Sergeant (Lloyds TSB) also offered her comments to the debate. Professor Lord Eatwell (Director of CFAP) chaired the session.
